Thanks go out to all those who participated in Desert Heat 2011.

We had a record-breaking event with about 1,000 attendees on Saturday, and 136 flyers making 716 launches over the two days, with 78 of them in the H – N impulse range.

The Arizona Rocketry Team highlighted the event with their five-motor 20 foot tall ½-scale SCUD missile!

Please support our generous sponsors, who donated over 90 raffle prizes or cash grants supporting the mass-launches for the kids!

Local station KOLD News 13 covered the event with two on-air stories at 5:30 and 10:00 on Sunday.

We have some of the best weather and wide-open space available and are putting Tucson on the map when it comes to rocketry!
