Launch information

SARA hosts launches at a number of launch sites throughout Southern Arizona. SARA operates at these sites under permissions from the land owner and other authorities having jurisdiction, so these sites are not authorized for unscheduled launches by the general public.  Always be sure to obtain permission to fly at a given location.

• Main TIMPA Launch Site
  SARA primarily operates monthly launches from its main launch site on the north end of the TIMPA model airplane field on Reservation Road, near Picture Rocks.
• Udall Park Launch Site
  SARA operates occasional low power launches in the southern section of Udall Park on Tucson's East Side.

Flight Cards

You can print flight cards at home so you can arrive at the launch site ready to fly!  Print these flight cards 6 to a standard 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper.

• Low Power Flight Card (1/8A - G power, excluding high power F and G motors)
• High Power flight Card (H motors and above, plus high power F and G motors
